On January 11, 2017, the Sichuan Nuclear Technology Manufacturing Innovation Center was officially unveiled in Chengdu. The center was jointly initiated by the Sichuan Provincial Government and China National Nuclear Corporation, led by the Nuclear Power Institute of China, and joined by 43 nuclear-related enterprises in Sichuan Province.
Representatives from CNNC, the Nuclear Power Institute of China and the Sichuan Provincial Government attended the ceremony. The center is expected to support the application of new nuclear technologies, accelerate the industrialization of technological achievements, promote equipment-manufacturing upgrades and strengthen the competitiveness of the regional nuclear technology industry.
Chengdu South Electronic Instrument participated as one of the first council members of the center, supporting collaborative innovation across Sichuan’s nuclear technology and equipment-manufacturing ecosystem.
