The multi-hole balanced flowmeter is a high-accuracy differential-pressure flowmeter with a specially designed multi-hole throttling structure. The size and distribution of the holes are engineered according to process data and application requirements.
It provides a stable differential pressure with relatively low permanent pressure loss, making it suitable for measuring gases, liquids and steam, especially in high-flow, high-velocity and complex operating conditions.
Working Principle
Based on Bernoulli’s equation, the instrument generates differential pressure as fluid passes through the throttling element. Flow rate is calculated from this differential pressure together with fluid properties and process parameters.
